Are you passionate about exciting stories? Do you enjoy conveying knowledge through captivating TV or online content? Do you know what matters in a companys communication? Then apply for a volunteer program at P7S1!

Our understanding of development:
When structuring all of our volunteer programs, we follow the 70-20-10 learning and development principle. You learn 70% through practical application, hands-on experience, and (new) challenging tasks on the job. You will be integrated into the team in your home department and will also have the opportunity to rotate to other departments or external companies. Approximately 20% of your development during the volunteer program comes from exchange and learning with and from others. This includes informal events, among other things, so that you have the opportunity to build your own network within the corporation. About 10% of learning takes place in training sessions. In a multi-week training block, you will receive an all-round training package covering media law, media ethics, writing, storytelling, voice & dubbing, post-production, and generative AI in a journalistic context. In further training courses, workshops, or subject-specific projects, you will have the opportunity to further your education.
All of our young talents are supported by a specialist mentor during their training. Whether its technical or organisational matters - the colleagues are always ready to listen to you and give you advice and support. An HR contact person and a manager from the specialist department support all our Young Talents during their training. Whether technical or organisational issues – colleagues are always ready to listen and to help you with words and deeds.

Our young talents about their traineeship:
Miriam, Trainee Corporate Communications Strategy & Finance
"My traineeship is mainly one thing - versatile! I support my colleagues in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports as well as in the organisation and implementation of events relevant to the capital market, I look after the corporate website and am responsible for the communication of ProSiebenSat.1 Tech Solutions (PTS). My highlight here is my great team, from whom I learn a lot every day."

Caroline, Trainee Entertainment
"As an entertainment trainee, I mainly work in content development. Here, no day is like the other. We have many pitches with production companies, agreements with other teams and development days where we work intensively on the most promising formats and immerse ourselves completely in their world for months - which is very exciting! Through my six-month rotation in the taff editorial team, I also learned how to set up my own contributions in a short time and thus create something tangible. That is equally valuable. I am very grateful that I get to experience both during my traineeship."

Alfred, Junior Community Manager Communications & PR Show & Comedy
"One of the most valuable skills I learned as a volunteer in the Communications & PR News, Sports, Factual and Fiction unit was effective research techniques. This skill is also of great value in my current position as Junior Community Manager. Volunteering was a journey of discovery where I was able to deepen my passion for public relations, develop new skills and gain valuable experience."
