As early as 2014, we underlined our commitment by signing the Charta of Diversity to create a working environment that is not only free of prejudice and exclusion, but also promotes diversity among our employees. This commitment has now been confirmed for the third time in a row by independent auditors as part of the UHLALA Groups PRIDE Champion audit.

Stefanie Rupp-Menedetter, EVP Group Communications, Sustainability, D&I
"Receiving the PRIDE Champion Seal in Gold for the third time makes us incredibly proud. At ProSiebenSat.1, we not only ensure that all our employees feel comfortable, but also use our reach as a media company to actively advocate for the rights of queer people. Diversity is not a trend for us, but a permanent part of our corporate DNA."

The Results in Detail
DEI Management & Strategy
We scored particularly well in this category because the diversity dimensions of "sexual orientation and gender identity" are an integral part of our sustainability strategy and the dimensions have been strategically developed further; for example, through offered training on neurodiversity and allyship. We pursue a dedicated LGBT+ strategy with defined goals, the progress of which we continuously measure.
People Engagement (ERG & Collaborations) & Leadership
We are delighted with a very good result in this category. Our employee network "PROUD," which is committed to an inclusive corporate culture with various projects (e.g., "Queer im Job" interviews or the exchange with the ERGs of other companies), was highlighted positively. Special about it: The PROUD core team can plan and implement projects within working hours. This also includes, for example, the organization of our participation in CSD (Christopher Street Day), where we set a clear sign against exclusion, discrimination, and hatred this year with our own truck. You can find insights into this special day HERE.
Recruiting & Contracts
In this category, we were able to score points above all with our competency-based recruiting, which ensures a fair process in which all candidates are evaluated according to the same criteria. In addition, the mandatory completion of an online training on anti-discrimination for all employees contributed to a positive assessment. Furthermore, it was recognized that new employees are already sensitized to our Diversity Principles during onboarding.
Training, Education & Awareness
In addition to a mandatory training on anti-discrimination, an impulse lecture on allyship and a workshop on sign language were considered particularly valuable. The offer of mentoring from female executives from the Top Leadership Teams specifically for female employees also received recognition.
Health & Gender Diversity
This year, we were once again able to convince in this area. For example, we offer all employees our Mental Health Days, which creates more openness and awareness for the topic of mental health and contributes to destigmatization.
It was also recognized that the team of BUK Familienservice (psychologists, therapists, systemic consultants) is available to all employees and managers free of charge and anonymously for consultations throughout the year, and that all (queer) employees receive comprehensive information materials and continuous security advice during business trips.
Communication & Visibility
We were pleased to achieve the full score in this category. This includes both internal and external communication as well as events and advocacy. This includes, among other things, our "Queer im Job" interviews, in which we make our personnel diversity visible, participation in the CSD and the LMU Career Marathon, a separate diversity landing page within our career site, as well as communication via our social media channels Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. This category also includes the use of inclusive language and the permanent publication of a statement on diversity and inclusion, and the public commitment of P7S1 Role Models.
Points of Contact and Anti-Discrimination
We are also pleased to receive 100% of the possible points in this category. To ensure that every employee feels comfortable and safe with us, we are constantly working to create a working environment that is free of prejudice and gives everyone the same appreciation. We respect each other, treat each other fairly and do not tolerate any discrimination. We have also enshrined this in our Code of Conduct and are also signed the Charter of Diversity. The fact that we have established a point of contact in the event of discrimination or harassment, where one can report - also anonymously if desired - was also rated very positively.
We are proud to once again be a true Diversity Champion, further reinforcing our commitment to diversity and inclusion among our employees.
